Mir space station

The mir space station was the first soviet space station and in fact the first space lab to orbit the earth. This space station was constructed from 1986 to 1996 and was the third generation of space stations. On March 23, 2001, the space station entered our atmosphere and burnt up over the south Pacific Ocean. This mir space station was the longest lasting space mission to ever happen.
